They had me download the Office image file again; left it downloading as I left for the day. This morning when I checked it, I noticed the file it downloaded was about 2. The image file I downloaded a couple days ago was only about MB!? That one didn’t display any error or message that it failed or that it was possibly incomplete. When I burned it to disc after that it never gave any indication it was or may be incomplete. And when I ran it 3 times yesterday, it didn’t recognize that it was incomplete!
Why Windows or the install package itself doesn’t recognize this is a little disconcerting to me. Anyway, I burned the new Office image to disc and ran the setup; it installed OK.
